Basic Fonts Serif. This site allows you to generate text fonts that you can copy and paste into your Instagram bio. It's useful for generating Instagram bio symbols to make your profile stand out and have a little bit of individuality. After typing some text into the input box, you can keep clicking the "show more fonts" button and it'll keep generating an infinite number of different Instagram font variations, or you can use one of the "tried and true" fonts like the cursive text, or the other stylish text fonts - i.
The site works by generating a bunch of different styles using a large range of different Unicode characters.
So technically you're not actually generating fontsbut instead I guess you could say you're generating Instagram-compatible Unicode glyphs : Want to learn more about Unicode? Read on Computers must store all data in a binary format - that is, with zeros and ones. So each letter that you're reading right now is stored on my server as a series of zeros and ones.
That needs to go from my server to your browser, and your browser needs to understand what those zeros and ones are referring to. Unicode is an international standards body that works towards a universal specification for text characters. Before Unicode was formed, everyone had their own ways of storing and rendering text, and so whenever two programs from different programmers or organisations had to "talk" to one another, they'd have to build a "translator" so that they could understand which codes referred to which textual characters.
Unicode had a bit of a tough time though, because all the different organisations didn't want to change their whole system around just to comply with this new spec. So Unicode had to introduce a bunch of different symbol sets to support legacy systems. Over time, the number of symbols grew into the tens of thousands, and today we're moving into the hundreds of thousands.
Emojis are also text symbols, and so the new emojis that are appearing all the time are coming out of the Unicode working group.
I've put together a bunch of fonts for Instagram that should be fund to play with and use for your bio. You may want to mix and match certain parts from different fonts. ASCII characters are the first symbols of Unicode, and these are the things that you're reading right now. But there are far more than symbols in Unicode, and it just so happens that there are quite a few that look a bit like the normal Latin alphabet i.
We can take advantage of that to make "pseudo-alphabets" which resemble normal ASCII text, but which have certain differences - such as being bolder, or italic, or even upside down! The term "font" actually refers to a set of graphics that correspond to some or all of the Unicode glyphs.
You've probably heard of "Comic Sans" and "Arial" - these are fonts. What you're copying and pasting above are actually symbols that exist in every font. So the cursive text and other fancy letters that you're seeing above are actually separate characterjust like "a" and "b" are separate characters.
So why doesn it matter that they're separate characters? Who cares? Well, you do! Because if they weren't i. You can't copy and paste some Comic Sans into your Instagram bio because the symbols the you'd be copying would just be normal ASCII characters, and the fact that they're rendered in one font on one website doesn't mean that they'll appear as that same font on another - it's up to the website owner to decide what fonts they use on their website.
However, if there's a set of unicode characters that looks like a specific font, or has a particular style e. So really, if I were to be really pedantic, this site should be called "pseudo instagram fonts". But the current name gets the point across, and it's nice and short : So, anyway, that's why you're able to copy and paste these fonts into Instagram. One final note: You may notice that some of the fonts don't work on Instagram.
Unfortunately Instagram filters out some of the fancy letters and symbols - probably because they don't want people to abuse certain Unicode stuff like the excessive diacritics used in the "glitch text" font that you'll see in the list.
Okay, that's all for now folks! I hope you find all these Instagram fonts useful!By this point, if you weren't one of the millions who saw "Avengers: Infinity War" in its massively successful opening week, you've probably seen the super-popular and sad meme it has spawned: all your non-Marvel favorites getting disintegrated.
Seeing a favorite Marvel character turn to dust on the big screen is a real gut-punch, but applying the same effect to another pop-culture character is just funny. That's all. Today, I'll walk you through how to craft your own "Infinity War" disintegration meme. Credit for the technical steps goes to Colin Smith's wonderful tutorial at PhotoshopCAFEbut killing your darlings takes a lot more than just image editing.

Now, it should go without saying that you can't just pick anyone. For one, they've got to be iconic enough that your meme stands a chance of blowing up on your social media platform of choice. Your candidate for disintegration should also be one whose well-being matters to you a great deal — if you wouldn't get a little bit affected by their actual on-screen death in a TV show or movie, they're not fit for this meme.
There are a lot of ways to go about picking the right choice for you. You could start with your favorite movie or TV show, then weigh which character's untimely departure would be the most devastating. Alternatively, you could lean on nostalgia — pick something that's not necessarily a fave but that'll get the '90s kids going. More specifically, I'm going with Dale in his green Dougie Jones blazer, as seen in last year's revival of the series:.
Once you've decided who you're going to remove from existence "Avengers"-style, open up the image in Photoshop. Duplicate that layer twice and give them names so you can keep track of which is which.
For the purposes of my image, I called one layer "No Cooper" and the other "Cooper Dust," which will make sense in a moment. Select the equivalent of your "No Cooper" layer.
Using the lasso tool, completely surround the person you're about to disintegrate — in this step, we'll actually be annihilating them completely. Okay, okay, this isn't that devastating.
You'd use the same technique to delete a stray cloud from a photo. Cooper is still there on the other layers… but we've only just begun down this dark, depressing path. You're going to want to distort your character so that their body stretches beyond their normal silhouette in the direction you want their earthly shell to crack and fade away towards.
Then, for added effect, I went back over the layer with the Liquify tool and drew out a couple of strands of cloth, hair and sinewy flesh. Later on when I break up Cooper into a million pieces, these strands will look like teeny-tiny pieces of him sent adrift on the uncaring winds. Turn both layers you just edited into negative masks — there'll be a black box representing the mask next to the images in the Layers window.

I have downloaded all of the textures and brushes which you see linked right below this and saved them all into one folder. I also the two fonts located below and installed them on my computer. Again, I would recommend that you save all of these assets together just to make it easier to find them later on during the tutorial. Before anything magical can happen I think we would be best suited by starting the process with a great, free Avengers style font face which can be found over on dafont.
We want to type out the word we wish to convert to the Avengers style of type and also run over to Google Images and grab a good, high resolution image of the Avenger movie poster and drag it into Illustrator so you can match up and check on any letter that you may think are a little messed up. I set my font size to pt. NOTE: I drew one shape for the acute corner and the obtuse angle as well. Repeat this process for all the corners we wish to curve. I used the Pen tool P to create what you see in the screenshot.
Check out the video if you need even more visual guidance. Look to the Layers panel and hide the lower of both of these layers. I also filled these letters with black to give everything the same color. Select all the original pieces of text using the Move tool V and holding down the Shift key and re-group that into its own group. Hide that group in the Layers panel by clicking the little eyeball icon and then group all of the new slightly larger text into its own group as well. I set the color of larger text to a light gray c6c6c6 and the smaller, interior text to a red color e NOTE: I selected corresponding anchor points in the inner and outer text to ensure everything moved together.
Select both groups of text and select the Move tool V and look to the control bar at the top of the window and align this text together with the horizontal and vertical centers. Grab just the red text and drag it over to the new artboard.
Selecting Artboard 2 will force the alignment to align to this new artboard, not the original one. Next, drag both of the.
We want to make sure the gray text is beneath the red text. HINT: Dark gray at the bottom running to light gray at the top. This should make the dark red sit at the bottom of the text and run up to the lighter red at the top of the type. NOTE: If you have an older version of Photoshop, refer to my solution in the video on how you can have multiple layer styles. Use the reverse button to flip the gradient quickly if needed. I rotated and scaled the texture to cover the text and then I right-clicked the layer and rasterized that Smart Object.
You will have something like I have in my screenshot. Use those brushes and paint with black to get rid of the texture in the top parts of the text. See my screenshot to see what my text and layers panel both look like. I dragged the metal texture off to the side so there would be enough to cover our entire piece of text. Paint a few cracks with a brush size between or so. We want to create a mask that consists of JUST the little gray edge sticking out. Now use the brush tool B and paint with the grunge brushes and the color black around the edges as you see fit to distress that edge.We will make the text manually in Adobe Illustrator, then import its path to Adobe Photoshop and apply some effects and texture.
Our first option is using a free font type. Both are made by Owen Dawson. Unfortunately, both do not have the complete alphabet for our project. First font has no K and O. We need these two characters in "Hongkiat". Also, we cannot use its A character because it is not suitable if used between letters, such as in "Hongkiat". Second font seems to be based from The Avengers original comic.
It has round edges instead of sharp edges. This font style is different from its movie poster. So, our best option is to draw the characters manually.
Creating The Avengers Text Effect With Illustrator & Photoshop
We are not going to use these fonts but they will be useful for our reference while creating the characters. You should start googling for The Avengers. This is what I use for our reference. Save the image file, create new file in Adobe Illustrator, then paste the file. Make new layer, then use pen tool to trace character N and G.
For I, we use the available N character and remove half of it. Just as in the reference image, first character is very tall compared to the others. For the H, we can use reference from preview font The Avengers. Draw two circles from same origin. Select both circles, open Pathfinder panel and select Subtract to create a ring shape.
Place ring shape on top of H and O character. This font is designed by Michael Adkins and published by The Fontry. You can purchase it from the link below. This font is designed by Fontry.
